Absolutely loved it! Left a write-up in your visitor's book and chatted with your cleaning lady for a little while (she is so
sweet). We were out and about hiking, sightseeing, cycling, etc. everyday - making the most of the weather. We were fortunate to have wonderful summery days with
the clouds coming in each evening about sunset, and then chilly autumn rain every single night. It was the perfect vacation for us, hoping to do it again sometime.
I forgot to mention it in your guest book, but driving up El Salto late one afternoon with the low golden sunshine it was really special to come upon the bison grazing at the
edge of the field to the right of the road. We'll have to send you a couple of pics once we get them downloaded... Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful
house.
Cheers, Carolyn

Actually, wonderful seems so inadequate to describe our little journey out west. Amazement, delight, awestruck and overwhelming are more like it was. Lots of
oohs and ahhs aimed at the landscapes and sunsets. Whether it was a deafening silence at Acoma or the mad claps of thunder that seemed to come out of nowhere, we were captives
to the enchantment from the first moment to the last. And how we enjoyed your house! You have done so much to make it warm and inviting. Sleeping and eating and
just plain hanging out haven't felt that good in I don't know how long. Our only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer. Bravo to you and your brother.
So, many thanks. Hopefully, we will have a chance to do this again.

WE had an absolute blast and loved, loved, loved your house and are hoping to get ourselves back there again in the not-too-distant future.
(The only drag for my girlfriend, Lisa, and me was getting home from Albuquerque to Chicago, actually wound up renting a jeep and DRIVING back since the airlines were all
messed up for days—the joys of deregulation.)
We all hung out each evening, after lovely days of skiing and hiking, in front of the fire and in the hot tub and
read and talked and cooked and all agreed we'd felt more relaxed there than any trip we could remember. The local dogs who roam around were an added bonus for we doggers
who enjoyed romping around outside with them. And we felt so comfortable at home there that we only went out one evening all week. It's really quite a treat to have had
access to staying somewhere so lovely—and well-provisioned. Thanks for opening your home for others to enjoy. Would have written you earlier, but work has been insane
since I returned (2 days late from the airline SNAFU), though memories of a beautiful week in Taos will linger for quite some time.
Best-Sherry

I just wanted to send you a follow-up email to say that we all had a FABULOUS time over vacation. A week ago Sunday it rained off and on pretty much
the whole day, and in the afternoon there was an amazing rainbow over the field behind the house --- I've attached a collaged image which shows it, thought you might
enjoy. We couldn't believe our eyes; it was the most incredible rainbow we'd ever seen. At it's height, there were two separate complete arches and the
brighter one was repeating four times - for a total of 5 rainbows at once!
The weather was glorious, and all the family enjoyed the house, the peace and quiet and
having plenty of options on things to do in the area. My in-laws have been taking a cycling vacation with a group of friends every year to Fort Davis, in west Texas, but
now I believe they are seriously going to consider changing that to your venue in the future. They so loved riding in the more alpine climate than west Texas (I think
they rode the ski valley road 3 days in a row).
Thanks again for sharing the house and thereby giving us all the opportunity to so thoroughly enjoy such a special
area.
Best regards,
Carolyn M.
